Engagement Models

Clear Models.Aligned Interests.

We use different commercial models depending on the type of work, with scope and economics agreed before the engagement begins.

Our three engagement models

  • Success Fee

    For negotiation engagements

For qualifying negotiation and renewal engagements. Compensation is linked to additional verified savings generated against a realistic, documented baseline agreed in advance. If no additional measurable savings are generated against that baseline, no success fee is due.

    • Baseline and measurement methodology agreed before work begins
    • Linked to additional verified savings
    • No additional measurable savings, no success fee
    Contract Negotiation
  • Fixed Fee

    For defined projects

For clearly defined advisory projects. Scope, deliverables and fee are agreed before work begins, providing cost certainty.

    • License reviews, contract analysis and compliance
    • ULA/PULA, Java, support and cloud assessments
    • Also available for negotiations when preferred
    License & Contract Advisory
  • Annual Retainer

    For ongoing advisory

For enterprises that want ongoing access to senior Oracle advisory expertise across recurring decisions, planning and preparation.

    • Recurring decisions, renewals, proposals and licensing questions
    • Scope and service cadence agreed with you
    • Major negotiations may be scoped separately
    Strategic Oracle Advisory

Success Fee

How savings are measured.

The baseline is agreed before we begin negotiating and must represent a realistic, comparable commercial starting point. Savings are measured against like-for-like scope and commercial conditions.

  1. Agree the baseline

A realistic, documented starting point for a comparable scope, agreed in writing before the work begins.

  2. Compare like for like

If scope, term, quantities, products or other material assumptions change, the comparison is normalized first.

  3. Measure the improvement

The difference between the baseline and the final comparable agreement is the measurable saving.

  4. Fee only on the improvement

Our fee is the agreed percentage of that improvement. No additional savings, no success fee.

The mechanics

A realistic baseline and measurement methodology are agreed before the engagement begins. Compensation is linked only to additional verified savings against that baseline.

Schematic, not to scale. The fee percentage is agreed commercially with each client and is not published on this website.
